The staff of the Catholic Youth Foundation also participated in the Stand Up for Europe international project meeting in Istanbul, Turkey from 14 to 16 May 2024.
A Katolikus Ifjúsági Alapítvány munkatársai részt vettek a kétnapos nemzetközi projekttalálkozón Isztambulban, Törökországban 2024. május 14 és 16 között.
A projekttalálkozón részt vettek: Michael Sommer és Pia Ziyout a németországi Akademie Klausenhofból, Dr. Florian Wenzel az Augsburgi Egyetemről (Németország), Matej Cepin a Socialna Akademija (Szlovéniából), illetve a házigazdák Umur Bakkal és Zuhal Yılmaz Doğan a Doğa Schools (Törökország). Online kapcsolódott az eseményhez az InEuropa olaszországi partnerszervezet.
A megbeszélésen a Stand Up for Europe projekt céljai, a tananyag fejlesztésének menete és a kommunikációs stratégia is áttárgyalásra került. Rövid gyakorlati bemutatot tartott Dr. Florian Wenzel az Augsburgi Egyetemről a partnerek számára a Hufer-módszerről. A partnerek közösen is megvitatták a projektben tárgyalandó témákat, meghatározva azokat az európai értékeket, amelyeket a projekt megvalósítása során hangsúlyozni kell. A találkozó óriási lehetőséget nyújtott arra is, hogy Isztambult és kultúráját is jobban megismerjük, illetve személyesen találkozzunk a partnerszervezetek képviselőivel.
Továbbá betekintést nyertünk a házigazda Doğa Schools munkájába is, amely nagyon inspiráló volt számunkra.
The staff of the Catholic Youth Foundation participated in the two-day international project meeting in Istanbul, Turkey between 14-16th May 2024.
The project meeting was attended by: Michael Sommer and Pia Ziyout from the Akademie Klausenhof in Germany, Dr Florian Wenzel from the University of Augsburg (Germany), Matej Cepin from Socialna Akademija (Slovenia) and hosts Umur Bakkal and Zuhal Yılmaz Doğan from the Doğa Schools (Turkey). InEuropa Italy partner organisation joined the event online.
The discussion focused on the objectives of the Stand Up for Europe project, the development of the curriculum and the communication strategy. A short practical presentation was given by Dr. Florian Wenzel from the University of Augsburg on the Hufer method. The partners also discussed together the topics to be addressed in the project, identifying the European values that are to be emphasized in the project implementation. The meeting was also a great opportunity to get to know Istanbul and its culture better and also to meet personally with representatives of the partner organisations.
In addition, we were able to gain insight into the work of the host Doğa Schools, which was very inspiring for us.
